Students will be able to write a more advanced Cause paragraph by writing more sophisticated topic sentences, main points, supporting detail, and concluding sentences. Students will learn how to add more detail to the paragraph to achieve a more advanced level paragraph.

This video shows the editing process. The specific grammar points addressed are relative pronouns and the Passive. The student paragraph is improved by changing compound sentences using "and" to sentences using relative pronouns: who, which, etc. Active sentences are also changed to passive sentences for coherence improvement.
